MISERY SIGNALS Cancels California Dates
May 31, 2007Milwaukee, WI's metalcore act MISERY SIGNALS has cancelled its previously announced California dates in Bakersfield and Fresno after vocalist Karl Schubach was taken ill. Tonight's (May 31) show in Orangevale, California is also in jeopardy.
Commented the band: "Unfortunately in some ridiculously sick twist of fate our vocalist Karl has been hit with bronchitis and laryngitis at the same time. So in turn we have had to cancel a couple days on the Fiancee tour with THE CHARIOT. We plan to be back on the tour as soon as possible. Hopefully we will be back in full effect come Portland [on June 2]. Sorry to anyone who intended on coming out or showed up to see us. We will be back again soon."
MISERY SIGNALS' latest full-length album, "Mirrors", came out in August 2006 via Ferret Music. The group's first CD to feature Schubach was recorded with producer Ben Schigel (CHIMAIRA, ZAO) and boasts an even larger sound than the band's acclaimed debut, "Of Malice & The Magnum Heart" (2004).
